Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of every great organization; they are what make it an integral part of the community.

There are a variety of ways you can contribute your skills to help the museum prosper and grow:
- Become a docent — docents help in many ways. Docents give tours at the museum, work in the Museum Gift Shop, help with Little Chapel tours, help with lecture socials serving drinks and snacks, clean the Museum, work on exhibits, help with computer skills {adjusting photos, website, bookkeeping, social networking}, transcribe logs, conduct interviews and more.
- Help with maintenance of the Museum
- Help with school/community outreach projects
Contact Docent Coordinator Pepper Pendzinski at docentspapha@yahoo.com for more information about becoming a docent.
Have a skill not listed? Find out if we need it and don’t know it yet! Volunteer as little or as much as you can – we accept all help!!!
Volunteers helped us make our goal of a Museum possible. People helped paint, prep, the building. Professionals from Port Aransas and out-of-towners helped contractors with all facets of the remodel. Volunteers and Garden Club members worked with city workers to landscape the complex. Docents are all volunteers, as are all members except the Museum Director.
