We have a great line up for our 2019 Winter Lecture Series. The talks are free to the public and will be held on Mondays: February 18 & 25 and March 4 & 11. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a cheese and wine reception in the museum, and the public is encouraged to browse the Museum and shop in the Gift Shop. At 7 p.m. everyone moves across the walkway to the Community Ctr. for the lecture.
This year’s lineup of speakers and topics includes:
- Feb 18 – “The Tarpon Era in Texas” presented by Rick Pratt
- Feb 25 – “48 Years of Photos from the South Jetty” presented by Dan Parker
- Mar 4 – “Old Fishing Tackle of Corpus Christi” presented by Dr. David McKee
- Mar 11 – “The Port of Port Aransas” presented by Greg Smith
