About the Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival
The Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival, which began in 2014, is an annual three-day family friendly event that features handcrafted kayaks, paddleboards, skiffs and sailing boats — as well as historic Farley boats.
Family Boat Build
The Family boat build is our central main event, where three to four families build a boat in two and a half days, launching the boats after lunch on Sunday.
Nautical Market
Our Nautical Market features a variety of vendors, including food, arts and crafts and boat kit vendors.
Other Activities
Activities include a wooden boat showcase, speakers, kids’ activities and more. You can even row a boat in the harbor!
