Gift Shop

Make sure to stop by the Museum Gift Shop when you visit.  We offer a fine selection of books pertaining to both the natural and cultural history of our island, lovely photographs and paintings that capture and preserve the beauty of our region, and high quality crafts by local artisans.

Most of the items we sell are on consignment from local artists and artisans, and many of the books are penned by local historians and writers.  As our Museum Board President, Nancy Phillips, puts it, “When someone buys an item in the gift shop of the museum they not only help preserve history, they encourage an area artist”.  That’s definitely a winning combination!

And of course we have postcards, note-cards, t-shirts and generally good stuff to remind you of your visit to the Port Aransas Museum.
