2012 Winter Lecture Series

Every winter the Port Aransas Museum presents a series of lectures dealing with all aspects of Port Aransas History, from new finds to how we deal with all the information we gather.

PAPHA Lecture Series 2011-2012

PAPHA and the Port Aransas Museum offer a winter lecture series every year.

Each lecture begins with a social in the Museum with wine, cheese and fruit. The public is encouraged to browse the Museum, shop in the Gift Shop and fraternize with beginning at 7p.m.

At 7:30 pm, everyone moves next door to the Community Center for the lectures.  Previous lecture subjects include: “Everything comes by boat … lighthouse essays”, “Aransas Pass is King”, “Images of America; Port Aransas Texas”, “Port A Characters”, “1919 Storm”, “The Major Port”, and more.
